please do NOT touch machine key and make sure, it is still the same as before. It is not used to connect to database. For database connections, user credentials from connection string are used only.

ok thanks, thats another thing ticked off the list.

What about in the web.config file, should it contain "SQLDataProvider" or SqlDataProvider" as when i swapped it around, i got a different error msg that is as follows:
