hi guys, one small problem. Just swapped databases, now on a SQL 2005 database but cannont get DNN to connect to it.

Here is my connection string as given to me by the place where i get my database hosted.

Connection String - "Data Source=tcp:sql2k508.discountasp.net;Initial Catalog=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz;User ID=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz_user;Password=******;"

And in my web.config file my connection string is as follows:

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express
      name="SiteSqlServer"
      connectionString="Data Source=.\tcp:sql2k508.discountasp.net;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|dnn434;"
      providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005-->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=tcp:sql2k508.discountasp.net;Initial Catalog=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz;User ID=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz_user;Password=******;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
  </connectionStrings>
  <appSettings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFiorylename=|DataDirect|Database.mdf;"/> -->
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules-->
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=sql2k508.discountasp.net;Database=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz;uid=SQL2005_381568_gamesbuzz_user;pwd=******;" />

Can someone please tell me what the "correct" connection syntax should be based on the above information?

Kind regards,

Jy.
