Hi,

It is possible to set a default password to people who register on the website?

Alternatively, is it possible to email me (admin/host) a copy of user's password?

Thank you!

when registering people manually, you can use a random password, default passwords are not secure.

you can emal the password to the admin as well by including the membership:password into the email template, that you can edit in the language editor, to be found in Admin :: Languages menu item (to change per portal) or Host :: Languages menu item (for all portals of an installation).

You get app_globalResoures.resx displayed by default, scoll down to email_... items and edit.

Cheers from Germany,
