Hi!
I have a site running the latest DNN release with only one site (SiteID = 0)

In the EventLog i get a lot of error messages (100-200 a day)  from siteID = -1 ?? Why??

Chris is on the right track for those errors.

A portal id of -1 indicates that it is a global error such as a scheduler error, or module load error. 

You can check quite quickly to see if it is related to the search indexer, simply turn it off for 1 day (If you can handle the fact that search will not be updated for that amount of time) and see if the errors go away.
