Hi all,

I have  a DNN site where a user wants to be able to edit the contents of a module - the module needs to have text and graphics. The user needs to be able to upload their own graphics - can I configure a text/HTML module to only allow access  to a specific sub dir on the site specifically for that user and/or module? If not is there an alternate module I can obtain to allow me to do this,

Thanks in advance,

Steve

On the admin/file manager page you can create folders under the portal's root directory, for each of those folders you can define who has edit rights, so you can control who can upload files to specific directories. The Text/HTML upload should follow this security model if you set it up properly.

The above works if you are comfortable with the users selecting the location.  If you are looking to force the lcoation for the images 100% you mgiht need to extend the text/HTML module to get your desired results.
