I dont know if exist out there a way to have Master Pages a la ASP.NET 2.0 in DNN. But there are common scenarios in web development where this approach is the best way out. For example, if i want a X module in every page, in DNN i can write a Page Template with the module X in it, but when i create, let's say three pages, i'll have three modules X1, X2, X3, each of them, diferent instance of the module, so if i want to change certain setting of the module i must walk through each instance to reflect the change, and every time i create a new page i must go and change the instance module settings or rewrite the Page Template. All these things happens because the Page Templates are merely a page copycat, while the Master Page approach allows to place a sigle instance of a "module" in any page, in our example the module X, will be the same in every page and any change in the module X will be refleted in all pages where the "module" exists.

So what im asking is, if there's a way to have the Master Page approach in DNN.

We spent a lot of time deciding whether we would implement Master pages and decided there was not sufficient reason to use them.  Having built a lot of DNN and master page sites i much prefere the DNN model.

It only takes a minute to add the module to 3 pages or you could use a skin object to achieve the same thing.
