I heard by now, that an Windows update changed smtp scripts and authentification methods. I'm going to figure out, whether that had an impact on my system.

I'm having the exact same problem with my dot net nuke installation but am going crazy trying to find a solution.  Have you found a solution yet? If so - I'd love to hear about it!

I'm sorry to tell, that after upgrading to dnn 4.5.5 I am facing the same problem again. in between, on a reason I do not know, the system functioned properly.

Has anybody any ideas?

Has anyone found the solution to this problem? I am having the exact error and I've run through many of the same troubleshooting attempts.
