I need a way to do a search and replace on certain characters in the external urls of my menu. Before getting too involved I decided to test it in the database first. I changed a few urls from ...mysite.com... to ...localhost... in the tabs table in the database but it didn't transfer to the live site. I tried empying the cache and restarting the application but still no luck. When I change the url in the page settings in DNN it works but doesn't transfer to the database. Am I looking in the right table? I looked at urls table as well but it didn't seem to be correct. Or is there some sort of caching issue? I recently enabled Gzip compression and modified some performance settings, but that was yesterday. Would performance settings cause this? Or what? I think I need a drink. Long week.

EDIT:

OK, I am officially a dork. My web.config file was connecting to the live server. Duh.
