I've installed and reinstalled DNN 04.05.05 successfully. Have enabled Repository Module (as part of the install process -- using Custom option.) Site is working well in my test environment (can not be accessed remotely from internet -- just on my own machine.) I've added Repository to the content pane. Module shows up OK. When clicking the "Upload" button, I get the following error:

Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content

I can not figure out what my problem is. I'm new to DNN and really need this functionality. Very frustrated. Any ideas????

The issue is the use of a firewall on the test machine. Turned off the firewall and now the upload form shows. Any ideas why this is? How to configure FW settings (open ports, etc.) to get around it? Thanks.

I am having the same problem and there is no firewall issue involved.  I can upload from aother modules and I am not receiving any errors in the Repository module.  My site is a fresh 4.5.5 install and everything else is functioning.

Ensure that your user has permissions to the designated upload folder for the repository.

Confirmed that this behavior can be caused by a Firewall.  In my case I run Vipre Antivirus Premium.  After turning OFF the Web Filter the Access Denied error went away.  I am yet to determine what it is that Vipre is blocking but it's definitely the cause.
