I have a custom site navigation module that is on the left pane and I am using the DNN navigation at the top with just a few quick links (store locator, etc). I have made the pages point to other websites or files, but I cannot figure out how to make them open in a new window. The URL control portion that allows new windows is hidden on the page creation module. Is this even possible?? Thanks!

Great that is perfect for external urls. I'm sure there is a way to link to files?

I have created a custom module that allows link creation so I know it uses the formaturl() method. I'm not sure how to do it with this? Just figure out the link to the file and place it in there?

Thanks for the quick response!!

Yes, you can open a new window to a file that way also, but I don't know why you would want to. If you link to a file then you'll end up with an empty page after the file has downloaded.  I would just link to a file directly.
