how to use banner module for displaying advertisement?

i entered to module options then i didn't find any thing useful to link this module with a file ,flash or anything else

i just want to know how this banner working?

Yes, it is difficult to figure out, but like everything in DNN, it's easy enough once you know how.

You have to go to Admin, Vendors and add a vendor.. even if it is yourself. In the vendor's settings you can upload banners. You can specify some settings there that control the display of those banners - You must set a date range that is current if you want to see tha banners. You must also set the type of banner that it is... e.g. a Banner or a Button - there's a list to choose from.

Then you add the Banner module to a pane and set the Banner Options to display the type of banner that you have uploaded e.g. Banners or Buttons or whatever. The module will display banners from the ones that have been created in the Vendors section.

Also.. it doesn't work with Flash banners. If you just want to display a single banner on your site, it could be easier to just insert it into a text/html module in your bannerpane and then set it to hide the container.

That should get you going.
