How do I share the membership of user with other portals in 1 host?

I mean, when a user register to 1 portal, he/she can use their account profile at some of portals at my host without re-register with difference account.

Where will I configure this option? Modify file web.config?

AFAIR there are 3rd party components for replication of user profiles, check out www.snowcovered.com or www.dnnmasters.com

Why host account can log in at any portal while a registed user can not share that permission?

I searched there is a commercial module of DNNMaster can do it. What is the secret behind that module? That module place here.

Is there any module do this function and FREE?

Same question for me... it seems strange that users are not unique in different portals.. they can't have the same name with different passwords... yet the users aren't able to be shared without a special module.

Seems like there could just be a host-level selector to allow sub-portals to share with the host or something.
