Hi there

I have just installed a fresh install of 4.5.5.

Everything works perfectly as far as registration goes UNTIL I add the account login module to another page (Like my home page).

When I do this, and then set the Login page to be my Home page via Admin >> Site settings >> advanced settings, then logout and then try and register, after I submit the registration form, the return URL that is generated is the following : http://www.mediamuse.co.za/AboutTheMuse/tabid/36/ctl/Register/returnurl/+/ - it seems to lose the last part of the URL (which as far as I can see when I click the register button to get to the registration form should be http://www.mediamuse.co.za/AboutTheMuse/tabid/36/ctl/Register/returnurl/+/Default.aspx  - however, when the form is submitted, the return URL loses the default.aspx part of the string.

Any ideas as to how to fix this ? My client needs the login on the homepage, but its useless if the users can't get a seamless registration process .

I must just add, that the users are being registered in the system - they just don't get properly redirected after registering.

Thanks

Just to further isolate this issue - it only appears to happen on Public regsitrations. If I change regsitration type to validated, the site seems to work fine.

Hi,

I have the same problem with two new instances of dnn 4.6! Because the registration need to be public, I do not know what to do. Do you have found a solution?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
