Hi,

I am launching a live site (DNN) to replace an old one.  When the new site is in place there will still be pages in the search engine's indexes that reference the old site.

I want to create a page that tells the visitor who clicks on this link that there is a new site, how can i set up a static HTML page in DNN?  I tried uploading a HTML page on site manager.  However, I can't access to it if i type the URL directly (www.dnn.com/test.html etc.)

Thanks,

Cliff

If you upload it via the file manager it goes into the /Portals/0 folder rather than the actual root.

You can actually just FTP it up if needed, but be careful if you are runing multiple portals as it would be accessible for all.

NOTE: From a SEO perspective you will want to do a 301 redirect to let the search engines know of the change.
