Hi All,

First of all, compliments for dotnetnuke.

I need to import the users from another MSSQL DB coz i migrated from an homemade website to DNN. I see that there's the users table and that would be easy.

How can i set a default password to all users or send to the user's smpt an e-mail to activate the account and set the password?

Can i also set an expiration date if a user will not activate his/her account?

Because of the number of the users, everything would be done by a script or a wizard on the SQL (like import the users)

I'd like to know how to do something similar, maybe with an excel file or CSV file or import from outlook

I´m not sure if it suites your needs, but take a look at Datasprings Import module. www.datasprings.com
