Hello,

Our intranet is hosted enternally, so the site is only open to registered users. Up until now, when a user forgets their password, it gets emailed to them. My company has now decided that sending passwords through email is not allowed. Is there any way I can set up DNN to allow someone to retrieve their password without it being emailed to them? Some sort of question/answer? If this is possible, how do I get this set up?

We are currently on DNN v 04.03.07

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I know you can have the question and answers setup to show, this is done via the User settings, however, I am not sure regarding the forgotten password.  I believe you might be forced to look at third party items.

Thanks Mitchel. Can you explain to me how the Q&A function works?

I didn't think you could use that across different networks. I'm located in Denver, and our host is located in Omaha. Am I wrong?

Edit: We also have several offices around the US and one in the UK that access this site.
