Hi,

In order to run Peter's Date Package a license file is needed. The documentation says I have to add some code to global.asax.vb:

Add a line to Application_Start() that assigns your License Key to PeterBlum.PetersDatePackage.Globals.LicenseKey. Example:

PeterBlum.PetersDatePackage.Globals.LicenseKey = "999-111222333|MarsServer"

My problem is that in DNN the global.asax doesn't have a global.asax.vb. Where and how can I declare this global variable?

Thanks in advance,
Nuno

the easiest thing to do would be to create the global.asax file and add the entry in - the existance of this file won't cause dnn any issues.

Thank you so much for all the help. Actually I decided to keep it simple and follow Peter Blum's advise which is to add the code to the Page_Load of each page which uses this component. It's only used in 7 places. It's simple and it doesn't change DNN core.
