Hello all,

I'm new to DNN and managed to get a basic site up and running.  I can see the register and login options provided by default, but I want to use a custom database of existing users stored on a separate SQL database.   What is the best way to do this? and where can I find instructions?

thanks in advance

I am wondering this also. I have searched all over for a solution. Finally gave up for the time being to configure the rest of the site.

What I think I'm going to do is authenticate outside of DNN and then redirect to the portal after successful authentication. That is unless I do find a solution. I'll be sure to post here if I do.
