Hi all, I have updated the 4.5.0 to 4.5.5 and everything seems to be working fine. I noticed though, that the DB is growing immensely > 1.5GB after 3 months of adding approx 150 webpages. The portal is not yet online for users, I am setting structures and content up locally first.

I went into the EventLog table and found over 250.000 entries.

Two very frequent messages are:

I would highly appreciate if someone could help me.

Thanks.

That's the lovely supportedfeatures bug... more info here: http://www.mitchelsellers.com/Blogs/tabid/54/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/111/Default.aspx

Also.. shrink the db regularly, truncate your eventlog and sitelog tables... and always keep an eye on the event viewer.

Rob hit this one right on the head.

You will want to truncate the eventlog table, then be sure to do a db backup with truncation of the log and that db will shrink right down!
