I've seen similar problems posted but still no solution (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/13469/scope/posts/Default.aspx).

I've noticed that the search works with the events module and documents that I have uploaded using the document module, but none of the data that I have put into the following core modules stuff is returning anything: text/html and contacts. I thought it might be a simple permissions issue on the module, but even changing the setting and re-indexing doesn't seem to be working.

I saw the tutorial on innovatasites and I've checked to make sure that the desktopmodules support searching in the database. Any ideas what I need to change in order to get this stuff working?
