OK... I am wiping my users and roles and starting from scratch.  We are integrating AD, so we want to have a clean user base.  In addition, currently we have a role set up for every user for page permissions.  Since we can now assign users to pages without creating a redundant role, I am also deleting all roles to reset permissions on all the sites (12 sites total).

Please tell me there is a way to actually make Copy Permissions to Decendents work!!!!!!  On my test box, if I give a page user level permissions, it doesn't copy that to decendents.  It will only copy permissions for roles!!!!  In addition, it only copies the permissions to the page level.  Every page has multiple modules.  The module only inherits VIEW permissions!!!  Why is that?  That is so useless!  I need a way to set page AND module permissions to sections (copy permissions to decendents) and need it to work for setting user permissions, not role.  I can't be the only person that wants to have modules inherit page permissions for edit as well as view.

Is there a way to do this?  Or do I seriously have to go to every page and every module and manually do this?  We're talking about hundreds of modules and pages.
