Hello all,

After copying DotNetNuke 4.6.0 files on my DotNetNuke 4.5.5 (web.config backuped), I can't use any login (bad login or password).

So I launch Visual Studio, open DotNetNuke 4.6.0 and run the project.

MyWebSite\admin\Security\WindowsSignin.aspx.vb(43,0): error BC30002: Type 'DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationController' non défini.

How can I correct this ? Where's the DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.Configuration namespace ? Where's the AuthenticationController class ?

Thanks

Did you copy the MachineKey entries from your old web.config to the new one? This is the encryption key for your passwords. Without the original one, you can't login.

Cheers

From the looks of the errors I would validate that ALL files copied correctly, especially the /DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices folder (I believe that is the proper path)
