Good people,

I have a very annoying problem. Every day (GMT+1) 18:00 to 23:00 my webserver goes beserk. Look at the stats below.

http://vejr.lir.dk/hobbit-cgi/hobbitgraph.sh?host=vfr&service=tcp.http&graph_width=1152&graph_height=240&first=1&count=1&disp=vfr&action=menu

As you can see response goes down. This is because the iis process for the site starts using all available resources and I cannot figure out how to determine what the problem is or how to fix it. I did a SQL trace last night and there was nothing indicating any problems. There is no custom scheduled jobs running.

How can I troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance,

Jesper

It is most likely the search indexer scheduled job.  Disable that for a couple days and see if that helps.

How I wish you were right.

We already tried to disable the "DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE" scheduled job, but it didn't change anything so we enabled it again. Here's a snip from the last few entries of that job:
