Hi

Unfortunately i do not have MS Sql support at my webhost, and i can't seem to find any documentation describing how to use MySQL or MS Access as dataproviders...

Can anyone direct me to som guide on how to do this??

There might be a commercial mySQL dataprovider at snowcovered, but I do not suggest to use it, you will need to get a dataprovider for every module you use. I suggest to look for a new hosting provider supporting MS SQL or allowing to install MS SQL Express.

There is a MySQLprovider on snowcovered for DNN 4.0.3 but i agree with leupold on not using it. You will need a MySQLprovider for all custom modules and another indication not use it is because the creator's website doesn't exists anymore.

Another options is downloading DNN 2.1.2 wich supports MS Access on : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=77052&package_id=77939

You will have to settle with the included modules then. Or maybe you will get lucky and find some old DNN2 modules on the net that have access support.

Best thing is to change hosting providers.
