Hello,

I'm trying to use a module called DNNPortal-Download Version 4.00.02 (Install) which can be found here: http://www.dnnportal.de/Downloads/tabid/176/Default.aspx

But I was hoping that the issue I'm having is generic.  Basically, when I go into settings for this particular module, make changes, and then click Update or Cancel nothing happens.  If I press Delete it asks if i really want to delete and does it... What and where do I need to change to make it work??? Thanks.  P.S. I think it is clear that I have no background in module development, so if my question appears to be super simple, please still be kind to reply.  Thanks.

which DNN version are you using? As far as I see, I assume Hans-Peter developed the module against DNN 4.5.5, you might post a question in his support forum, I stopped using the module, since it was unsupported for nearly 2 years before.

that very well could be the problem.  Sorry about the red bold font, btw, not sure how that came about...  Would you be able to suggest a similar module?  Funny enough I'm having a problem with standard DNN Documents module as well.  Anything I upload as a host does not appear, when I am viewing the page as an unregistered user (I've set the permissions to all, and even checked all for editing, still nothing).  Many thanks.

I need to be able to upload various files, for registered users to then download. If it has features such as rating, comments etc. it would be good, but at this point not mendatory.  Thanks.
