I have DNN 4.01 running and I have 3 portals set up for different domains. I set up the new user registration to do email verification. I can receive the mail just fine and everything is working.

What I would like to do is the email that is sent for each portal to have a different sender for that domain. It always comes from the main domain/Host smtp mail. Is there anyway of separating this out for each domain so the email comes from the portal/domain specific??

Thanks for any help on this.

The Resource files ( "Language") can be edited on a per-portal basis.  This will create personalized copies of the resource files, which will override the master one which is now servicing all requests.  The only thing to watch out for is upgrading... you'll need to merge changes on the resource files ( fortunately they don't change much or often ).

I have the same problem but was not helped by your reply...

If I open the language editor as portal admin - exactly where do I find and change the sender address for e-mails sent from that portal? I have been able to customize the content (GlobalResources.resx) as well as headers of the e-mails but not the sender (From:), that must be in a different file? Or am I just blind?
