I have a DNN site with a single portal that I have been developing for a month now. I am ready to go live, and I have configured the DNS of my domain name correctly, but when I connect to the domain (www.mydomain.com) it redirects to the IP address of my server that I have my DNN site set up on. I tried to manually edit my portal alias in my DNN database, but that just causes an infinite redirect loop. Does anybody know how to fix this in DNN configuration, or am I just missing something here? I checked my IIS settings, and there is no redirect in there, it just points to my DNN directory on the server. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Did you enter the domain name as an alias in host settings?

No, the IP address is the only portal alias I have. I can't remember whether that was entered during DNN installation. But when I change the IP to the domain name, it keeps redirecting in a loop.

Enter the domain name as an alias, wiuth and without the hostname (www).
