Error: Event Viewer is currently unavailable.  (BOTH IE & FIREFOX)

I had one site under 4.5.5 in which the Event viewer times out, now I have upgraded this site and one other which contain the event viewer time out condition.

Any ideas what might be causing this condition?

I have an average broadband conection running sites on a VS.

Can I somehow increase the time out period for browsers or is this likley some other problem?

Regards,

Web Valley

Does anyone know of a Windows setting that may effect this?  Because all of my sites/installations are now experiencing the event viewer time out condition (version 4.6.2) I am begining to think a single change (Windows, DNN) would  fix all sites.

Perhaps I can extract events via SQL to see if I can pinpoint the problem.

Truncating event log is what helped me in similar situation. Execute query "TRUNCATE TABLE EventLog".
