I just completed an update from 4.5.3 to 4.5.5 and none of my users can login,

It is not allowing them to retrieve a password or allowing me to access the postal as the host or admin.  I had to enter the table for the users after registering a new user and chage the Super user value to True to regain my Host account.

I have to manually reset the user password and it generates a random password for each user.  This is a bit of a problem for me as a I have one portal with over 1000 users in it, and all the have the same email address as we assign them an account to our Corp intranet site......

Is this a known issue or is it a new one.

When you upgraded did you copy the machine keys section from the 4.5.3 web.config to the 4.5.5 web.config?

That appeared to be it, thanks.

I overlooked this little step in the upgrade.
