How could i display a HTML/text module based on what a user entered in one of the fields in their profile?  For instance if someone is a Member of a Club, then I'd like them to view the module that shows only what Members are allowed to see and if they're Not a Member they get to see another HTML/text module with non-member information.  I've added the Member of a Club as a list and made it a Required field in the Profile.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Permissions are based on roles or specific users and not on profile fields.

Create a new role for club members and put any club member into that rule and then apply appropriate View permissions on your text/html module(s) ... that obviously implies that people authenticate themselves (log in) first.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you for the response.  The problem that i am facing is that this is a public site, which means that as soon as they register the user is able to see the homepage.  What i need is to ensure that when they select Member or Non-member from the required field in their profile, the view that they get should be different.  I do not have the luxury of giving permission after they register since they have immediate access to the site.  I need something to trigger the view based on their initial profile entry.  Hope you can help.  Thanks again.

I had the same type of requirement and ended up using a module from UNCANUSE. Its a great module for customer registration and allows you to create a form with field level rules that enable you to then assign roles based on input. www.ucanuse.com

Hope that helps.
