I feel like I'm asking such basic questions but I'm having trouble figuring this out...

What's the best way to import images and HTML into your page?

As best I can tell everything needs to be in a module.  I would assume that I need a text/HTML module on the page which seems straight forward enough.  Entering in HTML in one of these is pretty easy too.  I guess where I'm getting hung up is with the images.  I've made an image with image maps and some text and links in Adobe PhotoShop and ImageReady.  I export what I've done to HTML which gives me an HTML file with the code and a folder with the images.  On a 'static' site I would just upload this and reference the images.  On DotNetNuke it seems that what I upload onto the webserver isnt actually part of the portal unless I upload it inot the portal.  I tried uploading the images to a directory, but then how do i reference them? If I go into the file manager and click on a file it wants me to open the file and doesnt really show me where the file is at so I can link to it.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

with this scenario, I suggest to use MHTML module from Peter Donker, which allows you to use .mht files created by your desgn app or IE using "save as a single file".
