I am trying to use Oliver Hine's Weather Module and according to his instructions I need to change the trust level to full in DNN 4.x.  I am hosting my website on a shared hosting network.  When I make the necessary change in web.config my website will no longer load and I get the following error screen:

------------

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

--------------------

Am I missing something here?  I should be able to make this change in the code without any problems correct?

Here is the line in the web config I am using:

<trust level="Full" originUrl="http://.*" />

Any help?  When I don't use this trust level the Weather Module errors out and doesn't provide the weather data.

Thanks

I am also getting that error after adjusting my web.config!  I am really new at this.  Can anyone post a web.config that works so I can use it to troubleshoot mine?  I'm flying blind.  I've made a couple adjustments, but nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You could turn off custom errors to get the detailed error message but my guess is that your hosting provider doesn't allow you to run in full trust mode.
