Hi Guys,

Need Help in here. My Drive C where my DNN 4.05.05 version is installed already have insufficient space. It's already about 10 MB. I already tried to move files not needed to my Drive D just to allocate space. But still i need to free more space. My DotNetNuke .mdf and .ldf files already is at 1.8 GB.

I want to transfer my Database in Drive D. Is it possible to just Detach the database then move the Database files to a certain folder in Drive D and then attach it again?

Will these cause problems on my DNN site?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards,

Bryan

You should be able to detach, move the data/log files to different local drive and then re-attach.  The database file relocation is internal to database server and it is not related to DNN application.

So you are saying that it's just okay, It won't affect any of my created portals regarding the login, creation, deletion of data and the like. Is that right?
