Let say i have 50 portals with different domain, and each portal wants thier own fav.ico, how would i go about this?

Open to correction here but each portal would have its own folder in the DNN root installation on your host server. Each should be subfolders in the Portal folder including the default folder. You can save each domains favicon.ico in their folder.

Pick one of your 50 portals and login as administrator.

Click the Admin tab and choose Site Settings

expand the Advanced Settings section by clicking the + sign

Note the Home Directory for this portal is Portals/0 - copy the desired favicon.ico file for this portal into this folder.  Each portal has it's own Home Directory path so you should be able to set individual favicon.ico files per portal.

You can verify by visiting your portal as an unregister visitor and viewing the source and searching the source for this line of code:

<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="/Portals/0/favicon.ico" />

where the 0 above whould match the number harvested from the Home Directory path.

Good luck, you'll need it if yours works like mine.
