Username & Password Field Length

I need to increase the length of the Username and Password fields on the Login page.

I've added 'width: 300px;' to the 'normaltextbox' tag in the skin style sheet, but it doesn't affect the size of the field.

Any idea what is controlling the size of the fields?

Have you checked the NormalTextBox CSS class in your skins stylesheet? If you do not have an override for it, the default is in the ~/Portals/_default/default.css file. Here is what is in the default as of DNN v4.05.03:

/* text style used for textboxes in the admin and edit pages, for Nav compatibility */
.NormalTextBox
{
    font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: normal;
}

If you see a width specified, this is your problem.

Whoops! It is late, and I didn't read your post correctly. Sorry. You would want to look into changing the width of the fields in the ~/admin/Security/signin.aspx file. Just add the Width attribute to the respective textboxes.

What version of DNN are you using. It's different after DNN 4.6.0.
