Rob,

as far as I could see, the issue with deleted logo setting occured, when accessing site settings for another portal from Host :: Portals and the context did not switch properly. AFAIR this has been fixed by Charles for DNN 4.8.0.

Regarding the general problem, I currently recommend NOT to use schedules file sync, but enable autsync in site settings and manually sync, when portal folders have been created / deleted or renamed from outside DNN. There seems to be an issue with context as well, since manual sync and auto sync work as expected. I will try to look at the issue in the next time.

I've commented on the issue now. There is a difference with this particular issue and previous threads about files vanishing. In this case there is the error message displayed in the module settings and the solution requires re-applying folder permissions via the DNN file manager. The previous cases of files vanishing only required re-syncing to make them visible again.

Thanks for the update, I'll check it and confirm it is fixed as soon as I've upgraded to 4.8 or possibly 4.8.1 at this rate.
