I struggled to get my Dotnetnuke portal because of a Sharepoint install on the server.  Now I can connect to the portal from the server, but if I try to connect from a remote machine I seem to get redirected back to localhost.  Is there something I am missing.  Maybe I should be looking at a network issue.

Did you see the reply I made to another one of your threads about portal aliases and changing them?

I got the same problem DNN 04.07.00 installed via localhost. If I want to connect from outside I get a redirect error 302 0 0 and the browser is directed to localhost.
The only thing I see is that "user" gets logged in at the SQL2005EXPRESS system.
In the network trace I see that DNN returns an error 500 with the message "Thread was being aborted"

Chris,

fixed the problem after reading the response on an other message. Many thanks.
