I have DNN 4.7 installed on an XP Pro machine.  The very first thing I have tried to do is add the weather module (mentioned in the Dummies book).  I believe I got the module loaded correctly, but it is not working.  It gives me:

Error: Weather is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.GetExternalRequest(String Address) at OliverHine.Weather.WeatherUserControl.GetWeatherXML(String sLocationToBind, Int32 iLengthToDisplay, String sDisplayUnit) at OliverHine.Weather.WeatherUserControl.BindWeather(String Location) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I chanaged the web.config to read:

<!-- set code access security trust level - this is generally set in the machine.config
     -->
    <trust level="Full" originUrl=".*" />

and still have issues.  What did Ii do wrong this time????

Can't, even though i registered, the contact me section just comes back with an error message.  I am definately not impressed with how many error messages I see with DNN websites.  I thought that someone on here would know what I did wrong since this is a pretty commonly used module (it is listed in the Dummies book).

the problem might also be caused by weather.com

You have to remember: this is a module that uses a feed from weather.com. that feed might have changed. As a matter of fact.. i always used to have this module on my site, but it's no longer working on my site either (www.apollo-software.nl). I have no idea whether this is because of a problem with the feed or a problem with dnn or a problem with the module.

I think you are not doing anything wrong.. the original developer is our only hope....
