Hi there,

I've been happily watching my site log page views by month jump by about 6000 a month and visitors by about 1000.

When I looked hard at my detailed site log, I saw that there are 3 UserHostAddresses which account for more than 80% of the activity - Google, Spitfire & thePlanet.com.

Are these likey to be robots rather than bona fide users ? If so, how can I interpret my "views by month" to sell my site to advertisers ? Do these ghost users also affect the banners' reports ?

Many thanks,

Andy
