Maybe I'm missing something here, but I can't get basic syndication to function.  For instance, I have a blank page that I add an Announcement Module to.  I then go to the module settings and choose to Display Syndication.  Once saved I clicked on the orange XML button link and see the RSS, it has basic information about my site.  I then add an announcement and refresh the RSS feed, it doesn't change.

Maybe I'm missing something about the basics of how this is supposed to work or something.  Any ideas? (FYI I have checked the Logs, there are no exceptions that I see that are related to this)

RSS syndication is driven by the same engine as search. (See page 148 if you've got the professional DNN ASP.net portals book). So in host > schedule setting make sure you've got the DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE ticked. By default this runs every 30 mins. On my site therefore when I add something to announcements it is not seen via XML straight away but pretty soon it appears as a feed into my RSS news browser. I've used a couple of hosts for my site and to be honest I've found the feeds totally random from my first host and rock solid from my current host (websecurestores).Hope this helps. Steve
