Hi,

Please help!

Can someone advise me on how to get rid of the "Mode: view or edit" line when i am viewing the site (and not login as admin/host). It just sits there on all of the pages, the public can see this line - but of course when they click on the "edit" button, it doesn't allow/do anything and switches back, back to the "view button"

Thank  you!

Go into Admin, Site settings and in the usability section change the Control Panel Security to Page Editors. This restores the option to how it was prior to 4.55 - invisible to module editors.

I provided that answer to another similar thread an hour ago.. but from what you're saying, the radio buttons are visible to anyone visiting the site.. even anonymous?

I think it only comes on when you have provided module edit rights to a role. If all visitors can see it then, before you make the change I've mentioned above, check all your module permissions to ensure that only the correctly authenticated people have edit rights.
