HELP!  Something has happened and I have no idea how to fix it.

I'm running DNN 4.5.5 and all of a sudden the edit features on ANY module is not there.  I can add a module, but when I go to click on the triangle for the menu, I see "import, export, settings, etc." but no edit.

Any ideas?

Michelle

While logged in as an admin, ensure that you are in "Edit" mode, and not design mode in the control panel.  You would need to do this in both the radio buttons at the top of the control panel, and the right icon in the page settings area of the control panel.

Yes, I'm in edit mode.  SOrry.  I meant to mention that.

But I don't understand "You would need to do this in both the radio buttons at the top of the control panel, and the right icon in the page settings area of the control panel."

Where are "page settings area of the control panel"?

The last icon in left section ("Page Management") is called design and is a toggle icon, that hides / shows all module content.

I'm still having a little trouble understand where to find this, but I did find something.

If I go to "site settings" then scroll down to "advanced settings" then open "Usability Settings" there is a Control Panel Mode.  that is already set to "edit".

I did see a "Page Management" in the "Site Settings" but there was nothing to "toggle" for edit view.  Only int he "Usability Settings"

I'm very sorry to be so thick headed, but am I in the right place?  If so, then why don't I see the edit options for any module?

Very respectfully yours,

Michelle
