I'm a developer working with DotNetNuke 4.5.5 and have come across a most annoying problem.  When I am executing something on a page (for example: clicking on the "logout" link to log out of my web site), the page will start to "think" or execute, but if I happen to move my mouse over one of the menu buttons, it seems to automatically stop the execution of whatever I had clicked on (in my example, it stops me from logging out).  Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I've noticed this as well, but usually if I wait, the action will carry on and finish even though the browser looks like it has stopped. However there are definitely situations where a menu will cancel whatever was going on.. I'm just not sure what the difference is - possibly something to do with how far it got before the menu was mouse-overed. I don't know if there's a solution.

actually.. if I think about it, maybe the difference is whether the mouseover action causes an additional load or not. For example if it's just swapping a cell colour then it doesn't load, but if it's loading an icon or a background image then it does. And it may also matter if the menu is set to populate on demand or not. I turned that off a while back because it didnt' work very well over the web to have it on.
