Hi all,

I have two questions in relation to configuration.

In 'Host Settings>Host Details>Host URL', do we need to enter a FQDN or host IP address will do?

I am assuming that a FQDN will be used for the new portal that I will create.

The second question is, when creating a new portal how the 'Home Directory' should be specified? Should we leave it to default settings 'Portals (PortalID)' or customise it? If we customise it then should we enter a new folder withing the root of my DNN installation folder? Or just point to the root DNN installation folder?

Below is my root folder of the DNN installation.

C:/Interpub/wwwroot/DotNetNuke/Website/

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Ash
