So I just launched yesterday on DNN and now my email box is completely stuffed..  This user registered, that user is logged out.  The users are also being bombarded with emails when updating their profiles etc..  Is there any way to turn these emails off.  Either select which ones you want to go out and which ones not?  I don't want to turn off all emails, just certain ones.

simple answer: no. you can modify the content (in Admin :: Languages, using the language editor) but not turn it off. The admin can use a separate email address (it's the email of the user, who is selected in site settings) others will get the necessary information. Usually the "bombing" stops as soon as everyone is settled on the new platform.

So I should change the admin email address to a 'no-reply' email address that is just a black hole?  That would ease up my mail problem?  I think I found where to edit the text, I'll probably do that too.

Thanks.

Shad,

no. You can use the portal admin email as "From" and user's email as "ReplyTo" address to avoid emails being caught as spam.
