No, i don't.

Could it be that HumanFriendly urls won't work when at the same time SearchEngineFriendly URLs is switched off?

I had to switch it off, because i'm using the good old Gallery module from Dnn 4.3......or so. And beside all other posts i've read i never had a problem with it. But it does not like SearchEngineFriendly switched on.

Yes, Search Friendly URLs need to be turned on - and I fear, old Gallery module will not work well with human friendly URLs as well.

I suggest to have a look at 3rd party modules like SimpleGallery from www.ventrian.com.

****, i supposed you would say this. I have approx. 500 pics distributed over 10 galleries. To switch them will take some time.

Or i wait for the new gallery module. What will take the same time, won't it?

Thanks anyway

Kai

To save others some time, you should also be in VIEW mode.

And sub-pages needed by individual modules (different URLs) need additional entries in the FriendlyUrl table. (Host Settings)

Kai : late to the thread, but if even if you switch on HumanFriendly Urls, any page with a querystring in it (ie /page/entryid/44/blog-post-name) will revert to the old style /pagename/tabid/55/entryid/44/blog-post-name.  So perhaps the problem was that all of your pages have third-party modules on them and so the human friendly urls never showed up.

Also, the search-friendly urls and human friendly urls are incompatible : it's a case of one or the other for DNN installations.
