Hi,

Every link that i click on my site gives me an error that says '

Index was outside the bounds of the array.'. Does anyone know why this is happening? If so, how can I fix it?

the only way to fix this is to restart the application. either by recycling the application pool, or by "touching" the web.config file (just open the file, add a space to the beginning of the file and save it again)

Hi,

I had the same problem and restarting the application fixed it as mentioned above.

Does anyone know what causes the error and how it can be avoided?? Don't want this error stopping the site again.

Many Thanks
Arif

Hi All,

First things first! Welcome to the wonderfull world of DNN!

The annoying "Index was outside of the bounds of the array" is probably caused by optimizations issues on the side of IIS and SQL server.

The error is also discussed in the past in the folowing thread(s):

Good luck optimizing your DNN install!

Greetings,
