Hi,

for our students we want to be able to display in profile 2 drop downlists with information from regions and cities from where they should be able to choose first the region and then, based on this choise, the city where they live.

We have successfully populated the lists table, with about 50 regions and about 13500 cities in those regions. Also we have modified the profile to display these regions and cities, similar to the country/region from the default registration.

Now, the problem is that tha page is SLOW to display the profile (~4-5 minutes).The initial page with a default regsion and city is ~150 KB so I do not know why is that slow! Also, based on the region I want to choose a city, but, on postback the page is also slow! Everything else works very fast but this.....SLOW, SLOW....
