I am building a site that will have several pages....is there a way to organize these pages to sort through them easier?  (by category or first letter) I have listed a site I will be emulating closely, is there an option to do this in DNN or is there a mod available?

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean

Forgive me, but I am not sure I understand what you need. As Admin you can use the Admin > Pages menu option to easily sort and organize your pages. The current DNN menu method does not (to my knowledge) allow a pre-selected sort (like alpha) option. You have to sort your pages yourself, but it is easy to do using the Admin > Pages option.

Thanks for the reply...I am looking for options like the link I listed. I want the users to be able to sort pages by catagory or click on a letter.

Thanks,

Sean

I understand.

From I previewed on you sample site, if I wanted to do something like this I would probably use the DNNRepository module. You can create multiple categories like the ones on your sample site and each listing in the repository can belong to several categories. I suppose you could even make a category for each letter or group of letters of the alphabet, if you want to give your visitors the option of clicking on a "letter" category. Or you might be able to use the DNNReports module to list each letter group.

Good Luck! Sounds like an interesting project.

I have never tried the DNNRepository module, is there documentation on making this happen? is this the best option to accomplish what I need, I do not mind having to pay for a solution if it works.

Thanks,

Sean
