This is the second time I've tried to get some help on this so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have permission to see the files on the site.

I keep getting this error when I try to configure a vendor's logo or banner ad using the superuser account. I thought this account automatically had permissions on files in the root downward but I added the superuser as having permissions using the admin login. Still same problem. I've tried other settings to no avail.

Can anyone help me with this problem? I can't proceed in my project until I get this issue resolved.

Thanks,

Ted

I too am searching for an answer to this.  We have three (child) portals and only the first one has this problem: in the settings of some modules, it shows "You don't have permission to see the files on the site." even though I'm logged in as 'host'.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Craig

Does the error seem to come from DNN or from IIS or the hosting plaform?

This is a DNN problem & not IIS.
